Unique venue, particularly good location really close to the Main street, greatly enjoyed our stay. We were offered very very good and delicious breakfast options with freshly prepared croissants...

The brilliant breakfast and the modern environment

The rooms featured comfy beds, central heating, a work desk, and a multi-channel TV. the hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, next to an exhibition in Stavanger and close to the train station. I greatly enjoyed my stay at Gamla Vaerket for 4 nights.

The best thing at this hotel is the food and the staff.

Excellent central location and amazing nearby restaurants, as well as convenient access to the Slipstream Sculpture nearby!

Non-standard hotel, I.E. has character and the services required for biusiness travel. Very convenient for transport. Excellent breakfast, and also dining facilities for evening. Friendly staff.

Everything was really good, and the personnel was very competent. My guest room was unique and offered a wonderful view towards the train station. the location is excellent for exploring this beautiful area, just a short walk from the center of Stavanger, the train and bus terminal, and the railway station in Sandnes. the View Heathrow Observation Deck is conveniently located just 6 km from the venue.

We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the friendly/helpful staff. Also, we relaxed by the fireplace each evening with beverages and played games on our Ipad which was a good way to wind down at the end of each day. Loved the wireless connection.

I wish they had a coffee/hot-water pot available in the room and didn't like the fact that you could not make cell phone calls on the the bedroom phone. They only allowed local calls. We were there to visit our son and it made it hard to connect with him and make plans because we only could do it when he was home. We did not have international calling on our cell phone because we didn't anticipate this. We wish they allowed local cell phone calls, but then I don't know if that is even possible.The lighting was bad in the room and bathroom and it was hard to put on makeup or read/play games at night.

Really nice hotel. Breakfast wide selection to choose from. Rooms nice size and bed very comfortable.

It's a very Cultural Hotel.
